Dearest Helen:
After reading further of your accomplishments I was not aware that your husband passing until after sending forth my letter just a short time ago.

I am ever so sorry and I am sending forth love and prayers to you and your family to include sending forth a donation to Washington State Chaplain Foundation in his memory.

My husband worked for the Washington State Patrol for 32 years and served in South Korea. Please know I am here for you and my home is open to having you visit.

Following my travels I worked for the Wenatchee Chamber of Commerce. Shiloh is the Manager and I welcome having you check me out.

I do not know if they have a keynote speaker for the Chamber Banquet this coming spring and I would like to give her the guide article for Event Planners on your being a Keynote Speaker when I see her next week.

Sending love and Prayers,

Doreen M. Smith and Wyatt my 4 legged "Best Friend"!

Dear Helen:

I recently was gifted your book Polar Dream and read it cover to cover and was into your trip from beginning to end with great enthusiasm as you and Charlie journeyed across the pole. Superb reading. I realized my dream in life when I quit working in an office by starting my own tour company, A-BoutTours, Inc, "The Best of the Best", taking groups and visiting England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, followed by visiting the North and South Islands of New Zealand, Melbourne, Sidney, the Great Barrier Reef, the Outback, Tasmania and home to Washington State. Met many wonderful people along the way, travelled to Alaska and surrounding area, the Queen Charlotte Islands and traveling across the United States and Canada , retiring after 16 years in business due to the passing of our son and my husband, who helped my run my business as I travelled the world.

I currently have a 3 year old yellow Labrador Retriever TDI trained wherein we visit nursing homes and schools. Please know that I would welcome you and your husband should you ever decide to trek across Stevens Pass to our beautiful Wenatchee Valley. Skiing on Mission Ridge in the wintertime and beautiful Lake Chelan in the summertime. I look forward to hearing from you should you have the time to correspond.

Take care and wishing for you, your husband and family a Very Happy New Year filled with many special moments with everlasting memories, Love with Canadian Hugs, Doreen M. Smith
I love to read and I am in the process of ordering 3 Among the Wolves as my next book to read.
